Del Mar Board of Regents meeting tomorrow @ 1:00 PM.
I understand certain community leaders will call for Dr Garcia to be placed on Administrative Leave.
JK: Gabriel Rivas (en camera) represents and definitively concludes, when an
employee is accused of Sexual Harassment; that employee is placed on
Administrative leave. JK: The Administrative Leave Requirement is an integral
step in the Due Process and unequivocally applies to each employee the same. The
act of discontinuing or modifying the JOB opportunities of one’s accuser, is a
blatant act of retaliation. In the protection of DMC (all) preventing
retaliation is an obvious reason the Due Process requires the placement of the
accused employee on administrative leave.

I ask for Dr Garcia's Resignation or in the alternative his termination. Mike Westergren and DMC Counsel are conflicted by representing Dr Garcia and the College simultaneously. Force Dr Garcia to defend himself; one day he will be your adversary and maybe even suing the college himself. Alaniz needs to go ahead and start fessing up to the deception he has created. Is it a restoration or just lipstick and rouge. I will refer everyone to the critique (by an expert in the field and Candidate for Del Mar Board of Regents Howard Karsh) titled [South Texas Anti Incumbent Candidates] Opening Richardson Performance Hall,
facelift subterfuge dishonest!!
Also, remember the knee jerk email response from Dr Garcia?
Dr Garcia is "discrediting our institution". He is the individual with criminal activity lingering over his head. Not only this single act, Garcia has developed a pattern of aberrant behavior, inappropriate behavior, anger management issues and imprudent choices.
Before the DMC Regents meeting there is the "People's Forum". This is a John Kelley (Socialist Party of Texas) Nueces Democratic Women event. Only now has this faction became involved with the issues at DMC. This event was established after John Kelley was revealed.
These People (Bottomless Pit People) didn't give a hoot about DMC. Why Now?

Ask Ms.Arriaga, Ms.Olga & Mr.Rivas, why Del Mar College now has no EEOC for students or employees?

Not to mention the Theresa Cox debacle!
Why Mr. Karsh replacement, Shawn Meredith (peeping tom) works for delmar still after "the "ballet nacional" incident?
just to name a few.
This "People's Forum" is in support of their posture and their candidates Solomon P Ortiz Jr and Juan Garcia yet neither candidate has became involved nor have they considered jumping into the issue. I have personally asked both Juan and Solly to help out with this issue. Neither one has had the balls so far. Who knows, maybe they are ready to get their feet wet? In all fairness Seaman and Mc Comb have ignored these issues completely. At least Juan & Solly listened and responded. OK, let's see WATT they got?
